About Us AMTI’s Program Includes: Study Guides for: General, Airframe, Powerplant knowledge, Oral & practical tests Group Environment Written, Oral & Practical Test Prep Individual Computer-based Written, Oral & Practical Test Prep Hands-on Practical Demonstrations Remedial Assistance
AMTI’s 5,000 square foot facility includes a Media Room, a Computer Lab
and a Workshop to provide you with all the tools you need to pass your
written, oral & practical tests. A combination of discussion,
video, computer and hands-on formats enables you to retain the
information. AMTI encourages self-paced test preparation to allow you
to bypass modules that you already know and focus on your weak points,
thus ensuring success. We help you identify the areas where you need
preparation and those where you don’t. This methodology empowers you
to customize your preparation strategy to fit your needs, and
eliminates the boredom of sitting through a subject that you could
probably be teaching.
Our media room with its 9’ X 12’ screen high-definition DLI projection system and digital surround sound allows us to lecture, present slide shows, training videos and computer-based materials where everyone can clearly see, hear and understand the material being presented. This room is also used to demonstrate practical skills that you may need for that portion of your testing and for open-forum discussion of technical subjects. Open discussion is important: this program is designed for mechanics who have already worked in aviation. Everyone has some experience to share, even if it’s just hangar stories. Our computer lab is ideally set up to allow you quiet, self-paced review of the materials and the knowledge test questions followed by a graded practice test. Similar in format to the actual computer-based knowledge test you will be taking, the graded practice tests get you accustomed to the real thing so there are no surprises when you take your actual tests. If you have time, our computer lab & library can be used to earn some computer-based FAA or factory training certificates that can be applied towards your Aircraft Maintenance Training (AMT) credit hours. The shop area is equipped with all the tools and equipment needed to brush up on your maintenance, repair, fabrication or troubleshooting skills and familiarize you with some of those tools you may have never seen before like fabric testers and magneto timing lights. |

Mike Klasing has saved me plenty of time and money over the last 10
years. In the mid 1990’s I started with a Cessna Citation and after
several years moved to a 1124A Westwind II. Currently I have a
Gulfstream 100. Mike has seen me through all of these transitions. He
continues to efficiently manage my maintenance by overseeing not only
the work scope but also approving discrepancies. I have every
confidence in his knowledge and experience. Therefore, having Mike
handle important maintenance decisions relieves me of the burden,
allowing me more time to manage my flight department. I highly
recommend Mike’s maintenance management expertise to all private and
corporate operators who don’t have a maintenance department.
